1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Camsurf ("we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of camsurf, including our responsive web portals, mobile application wrappers, real-time WebRTC media channels, and communication tools.
By tapping "Start", accessing the live video roulette interface, logging into your profile, or utilizing any feature of camsurf, you explicitly certify that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of the provisions herein, alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not accept these terms in their entirety, you must immediately terminate access.
2. Strict 18+ Age Mandate
Absolute Prohibition of Minors
Camsurf is strictly designed and restricted for adult individuals aged eighteen (18) years or older. Access by any minor or person under the age of majority in their jurisdiction is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material violation of this agreement.
We deploy automated biometric age-estimation algorithms alongside manual moderation agents. Any attempt by a minor to broadcast webcam footage or solicit communication will trigger immediate hardware-level termination, IP-range blocking, and, where applicable, mandatory reporting to law enforcement and child safety organizations (such as NCMEC).
3. Video Chat Rules & Prohibited Conduct
The purpose of camsurf is to facilitate friendly, serendipitous, and respectful stranger conversations across cultures. When broadcasting camera feeds or sending text messages, you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:
- Nudity & Sexual Content: Displaying genitalia, exposed buttocks, unclad breasts, sexual acts, or masturbation on webcam feeds is strictly forbidden.
- Harassment & Hate Speech: Promoting discrimination, slurs, threats, stalking, intimidation, or hateful rhetoric targeting race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
- Commercial Solicitation & Spam: Broadcasting pre-recorded marketing clips, promoting paid escort services, MLM schemes, digital currency faucets, or unsolicited commercial hyperlinks.
- Automated Emulation & Virtual Drivers: Utilizing OBS virtual webcams, spoofed video streams, looping video files, or automated chatbot scripts to deceive strangers.
- Violent or Illegal Acts: Depicting physical violence, weapons brandishing, self-harm, illegal substance abuse, or promoting unlawful actions.
4. Zero-Tolerance & Automated Enforcement
To protect our worldwide community, camsurf enforces a zero-tolerance moderation protocol. Video streams are analyzed through real-time machine vision classifiers capable of detecting inappropriate frames within milliseconds. Users who trigger safety violations are disconnected immediately without prior warning.
If another user reports your stream via the in-app Flag button, an encrypted media snapshot is forwarded to our 24/7 human moderation center. Depending on violation severity, penalties range from temporary 24-hour timeouts to permanent hardware bans across all platform edge nodes.
5. Member Profiles, Security, and Tokens
While guest video chat remains 100% free without registration, members who create an authenticated profile via our Member Portal are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. You are solely liable for all activities occurring under your registered username and password hash.
We reserve the right to reclaim display handles, terminate dormant accounts, or revoke verified badges if a member account engages in harassment or violates these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property & User Submissions
All trademarks, logos, graphical assets, CSS designs, and WebRTC streaming algorithms on camsurf are the exclusive proprietary property of camsurf and its licensors. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, distribute, or create derivative works from our software.
Because video communications are transmitted peer-to-peer between participants without central server recording, you retain all rights to your spontaneous webcam likeness. However, you grant camsurf the technical right to transmit your media streams across peer connections to facilitate live conversation.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT VIDEO HANDSHAKES WILL BE ERROR-FREE, CONTINUOUS, OR THAT STRANGERS ENCOUNTERED WILL MEET YOUR PERSONAL EXPECTATIONS.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAMSURF AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE CHAT ENGINE, CONDUCT OF THIRD-PARTY STRANGERS, OR INABILITY TO CONNECT.
